THE newest collection of luxurious products that enhance a healthy skin is now in Davao City.

On November 5, True Scents and Minerals Inc., exclusive distributor of Jane Iredale products -- The Skin Care Make-up, Enchanted Meadows Personal Care and True Scents Aromatherapy, opened its doors to Dabawenyos who have a distinctive taste in make-up and skin care products.

After staying in Canada for more than two decades, Judith Barran, president of True Scents and Minerals Inc. together with her husband Lloyd decided to bring Jane Iredale cosmetics to Davao City.

"We are considered brave enough to do it at a time like this. But we have our roots here and Davao is special," Ms. Barran said in her welcome remarks during the launching.

"We are looking forward to success of the venture. We believe in the product. The product can speak for itself."

Truly, Ms Barran was not talking through her hat.

Jane Iredale has become a household name across the globe. It has also become the favorite of Hollywood celebrities and socialites best known as The Skin Care Makeup.

The Jane Iredale line is so safe and beneficial to use that it is recommended by plastic surgeons and dermatologists throughout the world.

"It has no preservatives or synthetic materials. It is made of pure minerals," Barran said.

The cosmetic line is right track on health and wellness and has been named as among the safest cosmetics by health experts abroad.

"Since it is made of pure minerals, it has no bacteria and its shelf life is longer," she says.

"It is the favorite make up of brides," Baltasar adds.

"We marketed the products here last year and decided to invest here after the glowing support we received," Barran says.

"Among our best sellers are the liquid minerals make up base, pressed powder. We have light, medium and dark shades. But there are about 16 to 18 different skin shades and we have these shades available here," she says.
